Delaware Valley Green Building Council is excited to announce the eighth annual Sustainability Symposium, happening May 4th at Penn State at The Navy Yard. The Symposium is a full day of educational sessions covering cutting edge green building and sustainability topics and industry best practices, including LEED, Passive House, Living Building Challenge, Enterprise, WELL, green stormwater infrastructure, and 2030 Districts. Please join us to hear experts from across the region and beyond as they gather to discuss their current work, opportunities for social, environmental, and economic impact, and challenges ahead in the sustainability field.

Call for Session Proposals

Green building and sustainability practitioners are invited to submit session proposals for the 2018 Sustainability Symposium. All sessions must be eligible for 1 GBCI CE hour and 1 AIA LU (a one-hour long session); please read over these GBCI and AIA learning objective guidelines prior to submitting your proposal. If your session is selected, DVGBC will submit for GBCI and AIA credits. This means you do not need to submit your session for CEU approval prior to submitting your session proposal for the Symposium.

The webform will close at 11:59 pm on Friday, January 19, 2018. If you have any questions, please contact Leah Wirgau, Education and Engagement Manager, at lwirgau@dvgbc.org. If you wish to submit presentations and/or additional relevant session materials, please send a DropBox link or .zip file to Leah.

If your session is selected, you will be required to submit course materials, usually in the form of a presentation or slide deck, as early as two months in advance.

Submit a session proposal today!
