SKF USA Headquarters
was completed in April 2009. A platinum rating is anticipated for this LEED for Commercial Interiors project. Sustainable features include: high reflectivity roof, waterless urinals, exterior & interior lighting that minimizes light pollution, geothermal heating & cooling, daylight sensors, currently an 82% reduction in construction waste, FSC certified wood products, low VOC materials, salvaged furniture refurbished with Greenguard certified fabrics, and green housekeeping. SKF Group is the leading global supplier of products, customer solutions, and services in the business of rolling bearings and seals. SKF has achieved group certification to ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental managements systems, making them the first bearings manufacturer to do so. The company voluntarily reports on the economic, environmental, and social impacts of its activities, products, and services. SKF’s Director of Environmental Affairs, Bill McGlocklin, will speak about his expertise in sustainability reporting.   
Aerzan USA Headquarters
achieved a Gold rating under the LEED for New Construction rating system. The building was designed to house an assembly plant and office space under one roof, as well as to enable lean manufacturing. Green features of this project include: straw-bale walls, passive solar design, low VOC materials, high reflectivity roof, waterless urinals, pervious paving, rain gardens, daylighting techniques, salvaged furniture, “Earth Tubes” to condition some of the air underground, and nearly 100% reduction of construction waste. Aerzen is a leading manufacturer of high-quality industrial blowers, compressors, and vacuum pumps.
