Committee Mission
To address the needs of schools, educational institutions and the professionals who are responsible for planning, designing, constructing and operating them with green and sustainable goals. We work to advance and promote sustainable and environmentally responsible development, design, construction and operations in order to enhance the environment for learning and working in the region’s educational institutions and facilities.
We run educational events promoting practices such as recycling and green cleaning and promote the USGBC pilot project developing LEED for Existing Schools, that four Delaware Valley school districts are currently involved in.
