Committee Mission
To address the needs of hospitals, healthcare institutions and the professionals who are responsible for planning, designing, constructing and operating them with green and sustainable goals. We work to advance and promote sustainable and environmentally responsible development, design, construction and operations in order to enhance the environment for healing and working in the region’s healthcare institutions and facilities.
Structure
The circle is composed of two parts:
1) A working committee of professionals in design, engineering, construction, consulting, and government with a strong interest and expertise in sustainable design, construction and operations (such as LEED projects);
2) An advisory council that reviews the working committee’s plans for educational events and activities to be sure they will address the needs of senior healthcare executives and decision makers.
