PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY – EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/BOOKKEEPER
The Delaware Valley Green Building Council has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail oriented individual to participate in the green building movement. We are seeking qualified candidates to provide a range of administrative and bookkeeping tasks.
This position will support the Executive Director. Responsibilities will include general administrative support, bookkeeping and member and sponsor service. Ability to manage your time and multiple tasks is important.
College degree preferred or equivalent experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft platforms and have experience in:
• Non-profit operations
• Peachtree Accounting
• Sustainability, LEED, or the building industry
Preferred candidates will enjoy interacting with staff, volunteers and donors.
This is a part time position (20 hours/week). $14-$16/ hour depending on applicant’s skill set and experience.

LEHIGH VALLEY BRANCH CALL FOR BOARD MEMBERS
Are you tuned into the financial, environmental, and social benefits of integrating sustainable design practices into the Lehigh Valley's building industry? Want to get more involved spreading that message on a local level with other passionate people? The Lehigh Valley Branch of the DVGBC (LV-DVGBC) is currently looking for qualified applicants to serve as at-large members of our Supervisory Committee. At-large members are expected to participate in the following activities:
• 10 monthly Supervisory Committee meetings typically 1.5 to 2 hours. All meetings are accessible via conference call.
• 2 to 4 educational and outreach events through the year. Attendance may require helping with registration or manning a conference marketing booth for 3-4 hours.
• Keeping current on committee business, via e-mail. This typically requires 0.5 to 1 hour a month.
• Lead special projects for the branch. Examples of such projects include helping write policy, community outreach, planning a large annual events (i.e. LV Conference), or facilitating communication with DVGBC membership outside of the Lehigh Valley. At-large members take on one or two of this type of special projects a year which require 2 to 5 hours in a given month depending on the scope of the project.
